"Gdańsk Legal Studies" is a scientific journal of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk. Published since 1997, it provides a platform for promoting research achievements and findings in the area of legal sciences. The journal is published by Gdańsk University Press.
The journal is published as a quarterly. Every issue is dedicated to a specific subject area. Scientific supervision of every issue is assumed by scholars who specialise in a given field of research research in order to guarantee a high substantive level of the content published in the journal.
The journal is divided into 3 sections – articles, commentaries and varia (reviews, notes, reports, etc.).
According to the latest evaluation by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the score for publication in "Gdańsk Legal Studies" is 70 points.
The journal is indexed in the following international journal databases:
- European Reference Index For The Humanities and Social Sciences (ERIH PLUS),
- Central and Eastern European Online Library (CEEOL),
- Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
The journal does not charge for publication of scientific papers.
The journal is co-financed by: the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk, Wolters Kluwer Polska Sp. z o. o. and the Ministry of Education and Science under the programme titled "Development of Scientific Journals" (project no. RCN/SP/0355/2021/1).
